The company

Metosu makes the steel systems that carry a building’s cables: cable trays, cable ladders and trunking. We also make lighting. Everything is made to order in our own factory, either hot-dip galvanised or powder coated. Since 1984 we have supplied more than 1,000 projects, from offices and hotels to hospitals and data centres.

My role

I am the Managing Director of PT Metalindo Tosan Surya, the company behind Metosu. I joined in 2022 to work on sustainability, moved into finance and strategy in 2023, and now run the business day to day.

What I rebuilt

I rebuilt metosu.com in English and Indonesian, and redesigned the catalogue and the company profile. Then I went after the paperwork. Quotes used to be priced by hand; now a quotation tool prices them straight from our price list. Purchase orders and delivery notes used to be retyped into Excel; now the team uploads a photo, AI reads every line, matches it to the order and keeps the tracker up to date. A weekly check ties each invoice to its PO and receipt before we pay.
